A combination of four older buildings, 182 West 82nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues is one of the only new developments that will be launching sales on the Upper West Side this fall. The building features ceilings over nine feet, with white-oak floors, white lacquer kitchens and huge master bathrooms, each with two windows, and most with a bay window with a large soaking tub underneath. Move-ins into the 11-unit boutique condo, where prices range from $4,350,000 to $6,645,000 for the larger of the two townhouse triplexes, are expected next summer.
The building will also feature a gym, a 24-hour doorman and a full-time super. “When people are buying in a boutique building, they are often avoiding investors and renters,” said Alexa Lambert, associate broker with Stribling & Associates. “They like the cool boutique feeling of an intimate lobby where you know your neighbors-and not get lost in a high-rise condo.”
